Mission

The Children and Families Need Us

Buenos Vecinos de Boquete is committed to assisting children, families, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities in need by providing essential nutritional staples.

Additionally, we aim to enhance our efforts in emergency situations to support the most vulnerable members of our community.

Together We Can Make a Difference!

Provide Basic Nutrition

Each month Buenos Vecinos purchases food from a local wholesale provider. These are staples that are familiar to our families.

You Can Be a Part of Us

For the past 20 years, our volunteer-operated organization has delivered nonperishable food items to many in need. To accomplish this task volunteers have been involved in ordering products, packing food bags, and delivering to families and individuals. Volunteers have also been contributing to the newsletters, organizing fundraisers, and representing this organization at varied venues such as weekly markets. We are grateful for any assistance as our volunteers play a crucial role in enabling us to serve the community in need.

Meet Some of Our Families

We support the local community by providing essential food assistance to families and individuals in need. Our efforts ensure that many residents in the Boquete area have access to non-perishable food items every month, which is vital for those facing financial hardships or other challenges.

The majority of our recipients are single mothers with multiple children who lack support. Additionally, some recipients are elderly or disabled individuals without family, community, or government aid. Our families and recipients represent some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Donations have enabled us to sustain our efforts for the past 20 years.
